fall break 2013

*I know this is super late but I wanted to keep this for my journal sake. :)*
For fall break I really wanted to do something. Get away with my friends and have fun, so I talked with a few of my friends and we came up with a plan. At first we were going to head to Salt Lake and spend a couple days there, but then we decided we should probably save some money. So, we decided to stay here in town in a hotel (silly, I know:). But it was so much fun to just be able to have fun and relax! It was perfect.

We checked in around 3 PM, and instead of just getting a king room, they gave us a king suite! It was very nice, we didn't even have to pay extra. :) After we got settled we went shopping, I love shopping so of course found many things I wanted, but decided I didn't need anything. :) haha. After a few hours of shopping we went back to our room and I helped me friend get ready for her date. I curled her hair, makeup etc. It was fun! Dinner came to our door (very nice:) and we enjoyed a few episodes of Psych. We decided to head to the pool so we braved the cold and headed out. When we first got there, it was just us (Emily, Meagann and I) and some punk boys in the hot tub. We decided to head to the pool; we got in but it was soo cold! We tried to keep warm but to no avail the water was just too cold. While we were hoping that the boys would leave, another family walked in. I could tell the girls wanted to get in the hot tub as well but the boys were stopping them as well. :) I decided to be brave and go sit in the hot tub, and hope that they would eventually leave. Long story short, the other girls came and joined us and the boys left! haha, girl power. :) I started talking to these girls and found out that they were from Grantsville and I knew some people they knew and we had a great time all together! They were up here for a tour of USU so I tried to convince them how USU is the best school ever. :) It was so fun to meed new people! We turned on the bubbles and decided to take a picture. :)

After being the hot tub a bit too long, we decided to go back to our room. We watched movies and got to bed pretty late. Okay well I got to bed around midnight but the other girls stayed up until two! I was exhausted. :) haha. The next morning we ate a delicious breakfast (found our new friends again!) and cleaned up so we could check out. It was such a great get away, just what I needed to relax. :) Definitely doing this again sometime!

Luckily we did the hotel on Thursday, because Friday morning I woke up sick. It didn't really hit until Friday night but it was no fun! Worst sore throat I've ever had, plus sinus infection. Yay! Hopefully that was my one cold of the season. :)

Lee was sick with the same so we both stayed home from Singles Ward, he was assigned to speak but got out of it.  :) I hate missing church and I'm pretty sure my ward thinks I'm inactive because I have had so many friend's farewells lately. haha. Singles Ward is interesting but it's been good. :) Definitely a big change, but a good change I guess! haha.

 I'm ready for another break from school! :)
