Just a few highlights from my wonderful week off of school... :)
- I held a tarantula!!! It was...disgusting. A bit terrifying but I really wanted to hold it. :)
I couldn't believe that I was holding it!! I was so happy to hand it back over to Andrew. :) Yucky, yucky, yucky!
Bad news about this guy. Andrew bought it and James is keeping it over the summer while Andy and Ester go back East. I don't know how safe I am going to feel with a giant spider in the room next to me! Especially sleeping...I can just imagine James teasing me with it - yuck!!!
- Easter was great this year!! Hiram is such a cute kiddo, full of smiles! (although these pictures don't prove that...:). He looked especially cute in this little tux of his.
- We colored eggs, I tried a new idea I got from pinterest. It was a tie die egg of some sort, it turned out okay! :) I love spring time. The beautiful weather, baby animals, all the wonderful things with spring. :)
- I helped Angelene & Matt move and babysat Hiram a lot. :)
- I spent a night at my Grandma's with my mom.
- General Conference was definently my highlight of the whole break!! I'm so grateful for Prophets and Apostles and how we can learn the Lord's will through them. I loved being so uplifted. My favorite talk was probably Elder Holland's, just like the rest of the world. :) They were all so good and I'm really looking forward to the Ensign coming out.
I was sad to hear that Sister Dalton was released, she has been an amazing leader and I've learned so much from her. I like change though so I'm excited for the new one. :)
